The Brokerage Module allows ADEPT™ to preferentially schedule a trip onto the least-cost option from among several service providers, based on the service providers’ capacity and cost. Parameters for each service provider can be configured by the System Administrator such that their trip allocation can be determined by factors including service zone of pickup or dropoff address, time of day, and day of week, cost of trip based on flat rate, time-dependent rate, or mileage rate as well as service provider capacity. The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) client module, in conjunction with a third-party IVR system offers the ability for clients to request/cancel/review trips without provider intervention.
